Great idea and insight….that is all we are going to have left (pennies) if that much, after obama finishes with us. You should print the instructions on the? video after it plays. Plus it would lengthen the video. I see you have included them in your video description.

To make this coin sorter: The main component the blue box on the right is called a coin comparitor. You can find this part in Ebay or searching the internet. Don’t buy one of these coin comparitors used, as most of them are junk. It’s hooked up to an old 12v power supply from an old cell phone charger. The rest is just old water and pop bottles and misc hardware from Lowes. The coin comparitor I bought had all the cables and instructions. I bought it for? $20 on EBay.

is there a specific model of comparitor that? separates the different pennies? A couple on ebay just say 25 cent. Did you program yours somehow for pennies?
