This is categorized as a toy but I’d call it a useful tool. Once you catch the trick for telling when a roll is full it becomes easy to use. A tube is full when a coin drops into the overflow bin. Listen for the coin(s) hitting the overflow bin – the sound is a distinctive “Clunk!”. The only drawback seems to be a tendency to jam on nickles and if you don’t remove full tubes immediately. Don’t feed too many coins at one time – about 6 to 10 seems about right. Let these sort before doing your next batch.

DO NOT PURCHASE! This device often sorts incorrect amount per column. If not monitored correctly you will include more $$ coins per roll! Another con for this device is constant jamming if too many coins loaded at one time. I am only using this for non commercial use. The only plus I can comment would be if you were purchasing this for a child, as an educational toy.
